# Gym Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is the first screen you see after logging into Gymdesk. It acts as your gym’s control center, giving you a real-time overview of payments, attendance, schedules, and important activity.

From the dashboard, you can quickly view:

- **Payments this month -** scheduled, received, and overdue
- **Attendance trends -** total check-ins over the past 7 days
- **Today’s schedule -** upcoming and in-progress sessions with live check-ins
- **My Tasks -** automated or manually assigned follow-ups
- **Upcoming birthdays -** if enabled in your settings
- **Notifications -** important updates about your members
- **Overdue payments -** members with balances, including amount and due date

### **Payments This Month**

A visual breakdown of:

- **Scheduled payments**
- **Payments received**
- **Overdue balances**

This helps you track revenue at a glance and identify any outstanding payments.

 

### **Attendance**

A 7-day snapshot of member check-ins, giving you a clear visual of who is training, which classes are most popular, and when your busiest times occur. Use this at-a-glance view to spot attendance trends, identify potential drop-offs early, and adjust your schedule, staffing, or class offerings to better match member demand.

### **Today’s Schedule & Bookings**

See what’s happening today, including:

- Upcoming classes and sessions
- In-progress sessions with live check-in totals

### **My Tasks**

Track follow-ups and reminders for members or leads, including due dates and contact details. If a task is assigned to a specific staff member, it will appear in that staff member’s Tasks list when they log in.

 

### **Upcoming Birthdays**

The **Upcoming Birthdays** section includes a list of members with upcoming birthdays so you can stay engaged and build relationships. You can turn this option on in **Settings** → **Members** → [**Member Notifications**](https://app.gymdesk.com/manager/members/settings).

 

### **Notifications**

Important alerts such as:

- Promotion eligibility
- Failed emails
- Inactive members
- Other system updates

 

### **Overdue Payments**

The **Overdue Payments** section highlights members with outstanding balances so you can follow up quickly and keep billing on track. From here, you can see how much is owed, what the charges are for, and open each invoice directly to retry a payment or send a payment reminder.
